Linhares is going to gain an Olympic stadium in 2007

LINHARES. Up to March of 2007, the local authority of Linhares will have to dispose of one of the most modern Olympic stadiums of Brazil. The works, in phase of auction, will cost R$ 15 millions and will have to if initiated into the near month.

 The announcement was done this week by mayor José Carlos Elias (PTB). The proposal, according to him, was to have begun the works of construction in October. Meantime, for question of adaptation of the land, there was a delay in I developed of the process. And the term for the enterprises interested in the competition is sold out in the day 15 of February.

 The stadium that will have capacity for 20 thousand persons, will be in the district New Horizon (BNH), where there is located the Park of Exhibition of Linhares.

The built area, according to the chief executive of Engineering and Special Projects of the town hall. Eudier Antônio of the Bramble, will have 25 thousand square metres. And the Park of Exhibitions will be shut down and transferred to the District Conceição.

 " The Olympic stadium will be similar with it of Volta Redonda (Raulino de Oliveira), in the State of the Rio de janeiro, but it will have more modern installations ", explains  Eudier da Silva.
