Interpretation
The Portuguese
shield, in all his plenitude, represents the Portuguese origin of
our Homeland; the tree shows the region up, rich in hardwoods; the
fruited trunk, the wealth cacaueira of the local city; two stars,
the escolinha of football experts' company (1997) and the
professional club (2001); the count's crown looks like D. Rodrigo de
Souza Coutinho, count of Linhares, 1st Minister of the army of
Brazil; and the belt, the Rio Doce.

Blue Owl
In
the plains of the north of the
Espirito

When
it began the construction of the centre of training of the
Linhares,
the presence of the owls in this area was very common,
today,
this bird keeps to on supporting: in the walls, planted with
grass now
and in the avenues of the center of training
it
was the great incentive why the owl becomes it becomes
